    Envisors' daily concepts and sketches

    Better pics on next page
Had to repost some images, so if you see some pics that look the same thats the reason. Sorry for the repeats.
Hey guys, kind of new around here, and its taken a while for me to finally start my DSB here at conceptart. Im 18 years old, and have been drawing for most of my life but didn't take it seriously till I was a Freshman in highschool. Ive been wandering around here for a couple of years and I have always wanted to post, but I had no way of getting hold of a scanner until now. So cheers to all of the great artists on this site, and looking forward to the long haul that is my sketchbook. Any C&C would be greatly appreciated.

Ive only got one for now, I'll post some more a little later. Also, sorry about the scan quality.

hey there, im pretty new myself to this site. wanna get big someday (gotta start somewhere right? lol) anyways, the forced perspective looks cool, but i would work on her hips a bit more. and some dpeth to letter would be nice, you see this baeutiful girl and then it like how is she lying on that it looks flat? oo and shading would be nice. jsut some of my thoughts. and hey good luck! keep on drawing!

Yet again, more characters from the past, not for any particular project. Sorry about the poor scans.
    [IMG][/IMG]
This one I actually drew for a friend, he was writing a story about a traveling warrior, and said he wanted it kinda anime-ish, and also he wanted me to draw him whereing some kind of armor, and I thought it would look cool with the turtle shells.

This one is for my buddy Conceptzaholic10, but sorry, the shading looks a hell of alot better inlife than it does right here. Im havin scanner issues. The full inks will have to come on a later date, also Im thinking of making the letters part of the floor. You know, kinda like a beautiful woman crawling all over my sketchbook, Hehehe- Awesome. Cheers.

hey envisor, here are similar poses for some reference. its starting to look better. still needs some work tho. try putting like a real thick border thickness on those leters and lose the branches. so it can kinda look liek graffiti.

Finally got my scanner to work, and been playing around with the midtones, shadows, and highlights features with my sketchbook cover, no extra shading with a pencil or anything else. Well here it is, this is what it was supposed to look like.
    [IMG][/IMG]
Here are some of my new pics

This was supposed to be kate beckinsale, but it doesnt look much like her, only a 10 min sketch

and quick face sketches, about 2 to 5 min each

This one is a quickie, about 15 min, turned out kinda cool

A warrior character I would like to write a story for, but needs lots of work

Hey there, welcome to CA. Very good start to a new SB. You have nice creativity as a base for your art. Now I do have a few crits:

Most of your characters in a standing position are in the same pose. Take the time and study some other standing pose for variation. Maybe take a bit of time to do some life studies. But whatever you decide to do keep at it. Don't get discouraged. Keep at it.

    I like this: http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...isor/Bruce.jpg

It's very natural and has some nice tones. Try some more like this but place more variation in tones to produce a bit more depth in your work. Again welcome to CA and good luck to you. I'll be back periodically to checkout your updates!

Thanks for stopping by the sketchbook Darkchild, and thanks for the tips. Ive been aware of my little problem for quite some time, and am in the process of fixing it. Most of those are old pics, but none the less, thank you for the critique.

These are some sketches from throughout the day, enjoy
:more Girls with guns, about 15 mins each

These are studies of some werewolves from another site:10 mins each

and these are the ones that I came up with: about 15 min each:
the one on the bottom is a portrait of my dog Fluffy

My first page of hands to go on this site

Your main flaw is boredom you seem to develop an idea or sketch and after 10 15 min you get bored with the design or just decide to move on to something cooler.. that is only my opinion though.

However you are making some headway doing studies of pose especially from movie posters and other concept art is a good start.

However I'm afraid you may need to go back to basics study one technique at a time. I have a couple of great links on my sketchbook you may be interested in.

Im 23 and you draw 12 times better than i could at 18. But dont ever slowdown.

Its cool dude at your on pace....

Hey I noticed that when you posted in my sketchbook you didn't have a link or a signature

    here is what you do

see the web address in the bar above http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85772

that is your sketchbook address use "insertwebaddresshere'

and that may just allow you to get more hits and advertise your sketchbook when you post. If you dont understand something ask or read the help option at the bottom of your screen in your profile. K

Great studies. Love the girly cover pic. When you ref figures I would recommend not trying to finish them. Just break them down to the pure under drawing using tubes etc. It really helps build form.
Keep it up dude. Thanks for the comments. :-)
