    Envisors' daily concepts and sketches

    Better pics on next page
Had to repost some images, so if you see some pics that look the same thats the reason. Sorry for the repeats.
Hey guys, kind of new around here, and its taken a while for me to finally start my DSB here at conceptart. Im 18 years old, and have been drawing for most of my life but didn't take it seriously till I was a Freshman in highschool. Ive been wandering around here for a couple of years and I have always wanted to post, but I had no way of getting hold of a scanner until now. So cheers to all of the great artists on this site, and looking forward to the long haul that is my sketchbook. Any C&C would be greatly appreciated.

Ive only got one for now, I'll post some more a little later. Also, sorry about the scan quality.

Yet again, more characters from the past, not for any particular project. Sorry about the poor scans.

This one I actually drew for a friend, he was writing a story about a traveling warrior, and said he wanted it kinda anime-ish, and also he wanted me to draw him whereing some kind of armor, and I thought it would look cool with the turtle shells.

This one is for my buddy Conceptzaholic10, but sorry, the shading looks a hell of alot better inlife than it does right here. Im havin scanner issues. The full inks will have to come on a later date, also Im thinking of making the letters part of the floor. You know, kinda like a beautiful woman crawling all over my sketchbook, Hehehe- Awesome. Cheers.

hey envisor, here are similar poses for some reference. its starting to look better. still needs some work tho. try putting like a real thick border thickness on those leters and lose the branches. so it can kinda look liek graffiti.

Finally got my scanner to work, and been playing around with the midtones, shadows, and highlights features with my sketchbook cover, no extra shading with a pencil or anything else. Well here it is, this is what it was supposed to look like.

and quick face sketches, about 2 to 5 min each

This one is a quickie, about 15 min, turned out kinda cool

Hey there, welcome to CA. Very good start to a new SB. You have nice creativity as a base for your art. Now I do have a few crits:

Most of your characters in a standing position are in the same pose. Take the time and study some other standing pose for variation. Maybe take a bit of time to do some life studies. But whatever you decide to do keep at it. Don't get discouraged. Keep at it.

    I like this: http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...isor/Bruce.jpg

It's very natural and has some nice tones. Try some more like this but place more variation in tones to produce a bit more depth in your work. Again welcome to CA and good luck to you. I'll be back periodically to checkout your updates!
