Neat stuff. I'd say experiment with line weight a bit more.

haha I can read the words because I have the original right here in front of me! nya nya nya nya nya, ha ha ha ha ha!

These look even better in person, the inking is impecable and the amount of time you invested really shows in the final. Kudos dude.

hey ya dude, really nice sketchbook . The monsters look ugly , as htey should be. and the studies , especailly the perspectiev sudies look solid. the comic looks neat, though there are soem awkward postures somewhere but the angles are quiet dynamic. so when can have the lettered pages .
    take care.

The panel pages for the comic turned out great man. Love the inking. Keep up the good work.

I like the top one on the last post. Maybe try adding this technique to one of your characters or enviroments.

    Nice Dude! Niiccccce!
Especially dig today's first image and both from the previous update.
My only crit is the hip/buttox area of this last chick flows a bit awkwardly into her leg - it feels a bit big too, dunno if that was your intention though.
    keep grinding the lead man,

    ciao dude, cya later!

A new day a new approach

Hey finally my pc decided to show all your pics. "Ek kan nou sien hoekom jy nie jou goed na ouma hulle toe gevat het nie, jy sou nooit weer lewendig daarvan terug gekom het nie". I think talent resides somewhere in your side of the family "of miskien is ek net te lui".

    Keep on posting and improving.

Really loved those story boards, the comic looks a bit strange, I don't really follow. Your anatomy looks a lot better in the last few posts, I especially like the way you drew the zombie dude with the 2 spears.

Awesome updates Mr. Renier man, I've only seen those earlier ones, nice style you have going, and those renders are awesome. Right, holidays are on their way, when are we getting together to paint?! =D

    Hey Lazarus.

You already know I dig these two - killer tattoo designs - something eerie about them; would be awesome to see them get animated on a model.
So how bout we see some of the new stuff of yours??
You're constantly improving without even trying - kudos.
    Oh and Renier,
    no never mind.

    cheers!

Brendan N - Thanks dude! My improvement feels really slow, unlike you man! your improving at a pace i cant believe. talent and a good work ethic can take you everywhere.

    Zombie_dla - thanks dude!

Bradly - no problem and thanks

Here's some card illustrations for a school project. There still not 100% completed so any suggestions would be great. I'd love to fix the problems before handing it in.

Your art is awesome. I enjoy your characters, especially the psychic guy blowing the brains out of the big wrestler dude, and your environments are beautiful and murky, and they really put you there...

Only thing I didn't like as much were the comic pages.
I'm sure it would make a lot more sense with the words in there - but I just think the super-graphic black-on-white miller-esque thing isn't working quite yet - not that it won't, but it could use a bit more refinement is all I'm saying.
Maybe a little more detail in the foregrounds for atmospheric perspective.

Anyway, your stuff is killer. Keep posting and all that.

    oh, here's my sketchbook.

Also, my website. It would get beat up in a fight.
