    Mattepainting, and two figure paintings

    Hey guys,

Been a while since i've posted here. Also abandoned my last nickname here, as i couldn't remember the password.
Here's a recent mattepainting, and two figure paintings (figure paintings were my final for my painting class).

Mmm pretty sweet color use, the neutral colors look very well
balanced, if anything ill say you could add some hard edges on the
life paintings, but imo they still look rather good

nice matte painting! i think u could push the background contrast a little further to improve the realism on this piece!!! maybe make the distant mountains a little more detailed and textured like the mid ground ones! just a suggestion ;]

    thanks guys

maxetormer> i guess you're right, but i believe the edges, or really the whole painting has been blurried because i took the pictures in a hurry. But i'll look at the originals and will try to do so

stalsby> i considered making the distant ones more textured, but decided that i wanted to give them a more 'dreamy' like look. If you've ever played heroes of might and magic, i guess you'll understand. THose mountains remind me of the game
