Chislu's Sketchbook journey
I'm Juliana Chislu, 20 years old and Brazilian. I have always loved games and art, but only in the past year I've decided that I wanted to become a concept artist and have been drawing almost every day since then. I've never had drawing lessons so I kinda learned by myself how to draw and color with Photoshop and Painter.

Hey, great start! I really like those last two digital paints. With the first few I have trouble seeing where the light comes from etc, but I suppose those are oldies. In that case you are improving very well!
I can also see you're studying anatomy, that's great, keep at it!

Hey ElPollo, thank you a lot for checking my sketchbook !
Yes, the first is quite old, it was my very first time at digital drawing/coloring. After checking a few sketchbooks before signing up here, I saw the importance of anatomy studies and already begun with it by myself. Thanks again!

Just found this sketch I did last Sunday at my work, had only one pencil but I liked how it turned out.
(the paper is a bit damaged, kids are always messing around with my stuff at the school I work)

Wow Chislu, you got some good stuff here.
I love the picture of the girl, who's name escapes me, she's been in several movies. Also it's funny that you said eyes were your weakness because as I looked at the woman who is in Blue (Tron inspired?), I thought 'are her eyes out a bit? The left doesn't look quite right?' haha, yeah eyes and noses are mysteries to me at the moment too.
Love the last self portrait, and the label across the lips actually adds to it and suits the whole picture. Show us some lip studies, are they THAT bad? Lol. Surely not. Look forward to seeing more.

Thank you a lot MasonJames88.
Yeah it is Quorra, from Tron Legacy, played by Olivia Wilde, but this painting is quite old, about 4 or 5 months ago. I have such a hard time drawing eyes and lips D:
It's not that the lips I draw are that bad, I think it's my lack of patience for drawing them that makes them suck so bad.

First screencap study for today, this is a scene from Beastly.
This is Kendra, the witch, played by Mary Kate Olsen.
Did in 15 minutes before lunch (a.k.a before my mom start yelling at me for "forgetting to eat because of drawing again")
