Love the colours here. Interesting designs. My personal favourite is that golum thingy at the beggining of your sb.

I love how you handle those values and edges in your faces!
I think you should keep going with that fast and loose style a bit,
    seems to be workinī great!

Hey there. Cool, didn't see that you're from Sweden.
Cool stuff in here. And nice control on the values. And best of all are those master studies, keep them coming.

    What's my line again?

Your earlier notes on lines line up with what I've been reading in the comics inking books I've been working with. Thick lines can mean any or all of:

    - major outline of the figure
    - presence of shadow
    - close objects
    - something important in the scene

while thin or broken lines can mean:

    - detail work
    - area of light
    - border that's low contrast
    - further objects, especially in backgrounds and landscapes

What gets me is when they conflict. For example if a close object is in the light and doesn't have much of a shadow. I suppose those are the decisions that lead to a personal style. Nice eye-con for your first post - that's what drew me in. You might try adding in more backgrounds (something I need to do as well) or doing two figures who are interacting with each other.

Take a look at my series of in-depth critiques, like this one of Salvador Dali's hidden portrait of Lincoln.

Scott's Sketchbook: Check out my sketchbook. Will swap C&Cs.

Hey man, nice stuff. The only thing I would say is that the colours on the last two (the chicken-man and the girl) seem a little too muted? Probably just because they aren't finished, but there doesn't seem to be enough contrast to make them pop out. I really liked your little angel study, though.

daestwen Thank you! I generally like those kinds of colors, you're probably right about the contrast though, sometimes i'm too careful with it.

great to see you here notic! your use of edge in solid blocks and in line form is so interesting, you really got me thinking about those transitions and interest.
