Envisor> thanks, i definitely utilize whatever knowledge of the human form i have when trying to keep things simple in order to give out the information that is important !
Chermilla> haha well good? thanks for the visit !
FactorZero> most of these people are drawn in class while the teacher lectures the first however many minutes.
Here's a tiny update.. the first 2 aren't really sketches, and although they are done in a sense because they were due as an assignment, I still feel they are a work in progress. I need to get better at the digital painting skills! So I took several hours of my life this morning to fiddle through painterIX for the first time.. and put out the little painting down there (yikes 45 min! haha). Which I stupidly saved really small -___-; sorry all ;;
Good sketch book one thing to note, your colors can be a bit too saturated to pure for what you have going on with your characters they compete with the central focus which is the character itself all in all very good stuff. Just thought i'd add my 2 cents.
kawakaze> thank you, i'd like to see a finished piece as well! just kidding, i'm getting there. ty for visiting
ashrumm> thanks for your critique, i really need them! although i kind of like bright colors, perhaps i should tone them down a bit, i'll experiment more!
Sway West> thanks! :]
OK! Here's another update with a few random things - cute bunny and ape for class, figure sketches (about 5-10 min each) and something I'm working on, but I'm just going about it the way that seems to be working for me, lol.. I'm not sure if there is a better way to go about it, so please, people speak up and help me out! /smooch
The last is something I'd made a while ago, but couldn't figure out how to finish, and the flat colors are in photoshop, but now I'm in painter trying to figure things out. No references, sorry --; but I think my main concern may be color and texture.
