Thread: clean-up surprise!
December 18th, 2006 #1
today at work is the annual 'clean up the office' day. there has been junk accumilating in the cabinets of my cube for years.. before i got here. so i was the lucky guy that had to clean it out. well.. after an hour of diggin thru old papers, i pull out what i thought was an old can of paint. but upon further inspection.. it turns out to be a packaged and sealed, authentic version of Painter 5.5 back from 1999 ! haha man i wasnt expecting to find that.
so i asked around: "anyone mind if i hang on to this.. its really old"
i got these blank stares and a lot of 'what the heck is that??" i said, very unexcitedly.. "oh nothing just some old software". all responded: "sure go ahead, we dont care."
i already have painter 9.. but still i thought it was cool to have an unopened box of old school painter.. just thought id share the news. peace - JAG

I wish I'd find a copy of Deluxe Paint when cleaning. I never clean though *wades off through junk*
Jamen jag tror att han skäms, och har gömt sig. Vårt universum det är en av dom otaliga spermasatser som Herren i sin självhärliga ensamhet har runkat fram för å besudla intet.

The best thing I ever found while cleaning, were the directions to my husband's house. I had scribbled them on a notepaper with a little map to his place with his phone number, some stick people, and a heart or two. This was 9.5 years ago while we were dating. I found the crumpled notepaper under all kinds of trash in my glovebox before I sold that car. Now it's scrap-booked
