    Intro_ Doug Alexander- UPDATED 12-21-06

UPDATE_12/21/06- thanks everyone for the welcome this has been great
i look forward to continued postings in the future,
but for now since it was requested, just a few pages from the
Amazing Screw on Head cartoon. Thanks for the interest
and if you want more of the model sheets, most of them will be on my
    sit when it's finished.

    Enjoy!

just thought i'd finally put my toe in the water here
i've long been a lurker and my buddy Scott Fischer
    said it's time to share

i'm currently the character artist at NCSoft LA Visual Studios
working with an amazing crew of guys, but before that I worked
in illustration, comics, and recently did the model sheets and additional
character design for Mike Mignola's Amazing Screw on Head cartoon for the Sci-Fi Channel

i'd thought i'd post a few pieces here and also in a thread titled Artists at NCSoft, so check there for more if you like

now on to the pics and thanks

WOW! I love what u did with that last picture (keeping parts of the background blank)...Awesome reference of speed in the second one

In general i love the feeling of looseness in your works...I can feel that u started them all from scratch out of your own imagination. Ur mind is a powerfull thing, i hope we get to see more from inside ur head. U seem to be a famous person? What stuff did u work on if i may ask (wich comics?)? I'm european so im not too familiar with the american graphic world...

    Anyway, welcome to the board!

I remember you! I met you right before the Comic Con last year at a big lunch with Chris Anderson and and bunch of others. It's great to see your work again, and I especially enjoyed some of the Magic: the Gathering cards you did. Please share more work whenever you can.

Bout time Doug! I've been seeing your coolness for years, now it is getting unleashed on the legions at CA and I couldn't be happier.

I know a lot of you know Doug's work, but if you are new to it, enjoy!

Doug has just about had the single greatest impact on my work. I can't even begin to express how much he has taught me about drawing and design sense.

Pay very close attention to this thread.

    Scott
