    Good idea!
    Like the last ref-girl.
Hopefully you're gonna keep it up.

    Maybe I also should start a sketchbook-thread..

not too keen on the last two, although i can't pinpoint what I think's wrong with it, but there's a lot of stuff you've posted that shows potential. love the helmut newton one, and those four heads from reference look good too. have you got any anatomy/figure drawing books on the go? i was thinking that that might make your blue coloured characters much stronger.

    keep on posting!

and kind of a concept, body (exc. head & breast) from ref, other stuff by me :

    thanks for the comments guys!
@willdrawforfood: nah, I got no anatomy books... it sucks, I know. Gotta get my hands on one of them. AND a wacom

nice work, jeff. i like the colors on the blue mech-dude a lot. as far as tips go, i'd say make sure you get the proportions blocked in correctly, even on the shorter poses. for lighting, a simple statement that's done well works a lot better than a lot of details done poorly. make sure all the parts are there (highlight, core shadow, shadow, reflected light). See fredflickstone's threads in the life drawing section... he's got some great tutortials.
