    Greatest goal ever?

I know there's much more to be said for dribbling the ball through the defence, and leaving the keeper grasping air, but a 35 yard rocket from nowhere is a joy to behold. Here's my favourite from AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf. Silly name, but he's got a foot llike a traction engine.

goals like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFL8-BvrHiU are few and far between.

you can't beat this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5iHltjPNnw for comedy value.

Apart from when my country is playing in international events, I never care about football.

EDIT: But thanks for the links, that last goal was funny, but it happens sometimes.

And it's not a match from Bahrein or in a 4th league match...it happened in the 1st Bundesliga

I was expecting another thread about how becoming an artist is straining on someone's budget/family/life, but was pleasently surprised.

That feat is all the more daring when you consider what happened to the Colombian player who scored an own goal in the same tournament. He was gunned down by a disgruntled 'fan' when he returned home.

How the hell does a 20something Norwegian, who was swimming around in his dad's balls after Keegan had played his last professional game know about him?

My dad's a football nut. (pun intended.) Liverpool in particular. I'm sure he could answer you what the result of the '76 3rd division finals were.. Everything i know about football i've soaked up hearing him talking about it. I know tons of football trivia and expressions even tho i'm bored to TEARS by the game.
