in fact every time i try draw any thing form life i fail because of the proportions ... i just don't know how to get it right ... evrey time the same bad proportions .... every day the same bad proportions ..... so guys if you have something that might help me get the proportions right i'll be Thankful to you
There's a technique called "sightsize" drawing which you might find useful, assuming you've not heard of it already. It's a method for reproducing an object in the exact size on your page to the size that you see it in front of you. It is an extremely useful way to get the proportions down, and to learn how to see things accurately. I don't know if there's any discussion about it here, but here's a link that explains the process fairly well:
thanks man i really appreciate this ..... but is there any other easier way
Yes: draw from observation over and over and over. In fact, that's what you have to do anyway to get from using this tedius drawing crutch to the point of being able to draw from your imagination.Originally Posted by Silver Rains
