A thousand people said it already, but your confident, bold, straight lines and unique hatching are beautiful. I love your zoo drawings, also. I need to do some of that myself. The oils aren't too shabby either.

    ketchook!

Soja: Thanks yo! Iíve been called many things, but never an ďinspiration bombĒ. Thatís awesome, and Iím glad you dig it. I wish I could remember how to speak german (my first language when I was a little kid) so I could read your quote.

Bhanu: Thanks man. Yeah all charcoal, and great reference to work from.

    Boky: Thanks for stopping by!

Call0ps: Thanks! Charcoal is one of those mediums thatís hard to figure out and get what you want. Iím glad Iím starting to get the hang of it.

Maxetormer: Thanks! Iím glad you like the monkeys with tentacle hair, I have to do more of those. As for Atelier, I didnít get an email or anything, so I guess I didnít get in. Thanks for the vote of confidence though.

    Mr.Delicious: Thanks!

Moltov Billy: Thanks, I try to pull out the structure, maybe sometimes too much.

Gloominati: Thanks! Glad you dig the work, and thanks for checking it out.

    Jens: Small world. Thanks!

    Ashrumm: Thank you.

    Orbital: Thanks!

Funfetus: Thanks. Zoo drawing is great, I need to go back now that finals are over.

    Onnophris: Thanks! I will.

    Leo Snow: Thank you!

    Schmitz: Thanks!

Not much of an update. Trying out different pens and just trying to get back into it after finals and a little break. Hopefully Iíll have more next week. Also, can anybody point me to where I can find the location of the Saturday CA workshop? I now itís somewhere in SF, but I donít have a clue beyond that. Thanks.

Love those lines and that sexy ass hatchwork. It's awesome how some of the most interesting detail in your drawings is in the shadows themselves... cool shit my man.

Hey - did you get something in the Spring Show? Could have sworn I saw some of your work there in the animation/illustration/vis area.
I love your work. Everyone's already pointed out the obvious - your hatching is amazing. The parts I like most are some of the more convoluted areas, kneecaps and such, that seem to just look flawless in your line drawings.
Just joined CA.org after InvertedChuachuta poked me to start getting involved in it. Still technically a lurker, but now that Spring term is over I thought I'd start getting some stuff together for a sketchbook post.

    Awesome work ; )

So I have this thing about not posting unless I have drawings to post, hence my delay.

Strych9ine: Thanks man. I do go a little nuts with the shadow areas, but as long as it looks cool, itís all good.

Bojee: Thanks for stopping in again, and thanks for the compliment.

DanielC: Thanks. I have to give props to the ref though. Great reference makes it easier.

    Dabaers: Thanks!

Bhanu: Haha, yeah I was going through monster withdrawal, but I have to get out of my comfort zone more. I have to start practicing landscapesÖÖ with tentacle haired monkeys and monsters with flaming halos, of course.

ButteredToast: Thatís me I missed opening night, but some of my friends said that several people mentioned that I might be in need of psychiatric help after they looked at my stuff. Neat! Thanks for checking the stuff out and the compliments.

    Flesheater: Thank you!

Call0ps: Thank you, and I will!

AmadorL: Thanks. Iíll try to keep a link to some ref next time, but usually I just drag the image into photoshop or print it (for longer studies I pay more attention to where the ref is). Sometimes I just look on flickr.com for images. I personally think itís better than Google image search.

    ^SlayeR^: Thanks!
Monstertree: WOW. Thank you. Iím still trying to find that ďsweet spotĒ for my brush strokes, but Iím glad you liked the SP so much. Still more practicing to come.

Muleskinner: Thanks! Iím glad you like the work.

    Jailbreak: Thank you!

    Yanino: Thanks!

Gloominati: Cool. Hopefully I can start getting to the zoo more. I think I have enough to buy a year pass now, and wonít have to keep only looking at photos.

Eh, moving and work. That was pretty much all last week. I actually got to go to the CA Saturday workshop which was pretty cool. I felt a little rusty with the figure drawing, so Iím determined to go again. Hereís some stuff I never draw (cars) stuff I draw too much (monsters) and stuff I wish I could draw more (live models). I think the modelís name was Paradox, and he was one of the better models Iíve drawn in a while. Thanks for checking it out.
