Links about design
There is lots of tutorials on the forum about how to use certain technique or how to draw something but not enough about design. It could be theory, articles, interesting car/architecture/industrial designs and so on. Long time ago I wanted to create some thread where people gather interesting links about this kind of stuff but I completely forgot. Of course there is Conceptart.org Wiki but many people (including me) prefer forum as a source of information so maybe such idea could flourish into something big.
As I wrote above, it doesn't necessarily have to be anything connected with game or movie industry. Knowing fashion might be useful for drawing characters, world architecture might be useful for enviroments, industrial design for drawing vehicles, sci-fi armours, weapons or any other objects. I you find something interesting then I'd be happy if post some link here. If this thread will become popular then maybe it could become sticky.
For the beginning I'd like to post some link that I found recently. It's about design basics. The process of creating good shape and some main principles.

What is your definition of design? The word is so widely used that it can mean almost anything.
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
Perspective 101, Concept Art 101, Games Industry info,Oil Paint info, Acrylic Paint info, my sketchbook.

English is not my first language so it's hard for me to write this. Maybe not design but aesthetics would be more adequate word for what I'm talking about. Searching for qualities that make something appealing to eye. There are some universal principles for this but it's also connected with history, actual trends and so on
