I think he'll do a good job. In all the movies I've seen him in, I've been impressed. I always thought that when they did an X-Men movie the one character they were sure to F-up was Wolverine ... but he really nailed it.

To be nobody-but-yourself -- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else -- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.

    Cool

So this is why he turned down the part of Dirk Pitt! Clive Cussler (author) fans will know who I'm talking about. My father knows Clive, and he told him he was trying to get Jackman to play the part of his character, Dirk Pitt (kind of like a James Bond type) for the first screen adaptation of his books, but he declined. I think they got that insipid Tom Cruise to do it instead.

It is a crucial moment , a breaking point in the movie when VanHelsing is standing and looking to his left.

    hi WildSpruceMoose,

there was once a book, long before Anne Rice and Vampire-Roleplay f***ed the motif up and there was a van Helsing taking part as a vampire hunter. The book is called "Dracula" and was written by Bram Stoker ...
