    Hi Ben

The body is a 3d model the armor and face are painted on top of the model. How is Artcenter?

Amazing art! Btw. Nightfall is far better than Factions. I need to grind me some globs so I'll be able to afford a fissure-armour for my paragon!

    No pain, no gain.

And here are my 2 cents worth......a few creatures.

As always, I love working with these guys. It's a pleasure to wander the halls of outstanding art here at Arena Net.

    Enjoy

    Ssssh! listen....you smell that?

  13. You guys do amazing work. You've given me a good stack of stuff to stare at for a while.
Tinfoil - Your work is particularly inspiring in the spread of your imagination and your technical execution. And your palettes are so rich but not gaudy.

My goodness. I honestly didn't expect to see another one of these threads for a long time. Thank God for expansion packs! :-P

Tinfoil, I'm hoping that one day you'll put out a tutorial of some sort. I am left clueless as to how you go about in doing some of your environments. This makes me go bonkers http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1164984733

Excellent job, guys! Lots and lots and lots of talent here! :-)

All of this is amazing, all the environments, the character and costume design, the creature designs, and the models, it's all sweet. I've never played guild wars, so I didn't know what kind of stuff it had instore before, but man, this is really good stuff.

I especially liked the girls of gaming covers, it's a shame they changed their minds about them. I wish you guys future success and more Guild Wars expansions/sequels so you guys can keep coming up with all this awesome art.

    Oh gee.

Coondoogle I love your creatures man. very cool concepts. they're very believable!

sorry if this has been asked before, but, when are you guys coming out with a art of book...cuz...yeah...I want one. I've never played this game before, it looks insanely interesting, but I'd definitely buy an art of book in heartbeat.

    nightfall armor

just 3d models from me, but maybe it will give an idea of what some yet unposted concepts were like.

sorry for the misleading labels... i know these sets have completely different names in the actual game.

Some more. Last bit are storyboards for the intro that got axed. I did them at home really quickly, but I have not done any storyboards for years. I miss doing them actually. Of course after looking at Mr. Milligans, all boards look like poo...

  25. Wow guys - awesome work all around!

Hey Daniel, do you ever do any traditional concept work anymore? I remember back at EA seeing piles of your beautiful traditional concepts. I always loved the feel of them, and I remember you'd bang them out pretty quick. Of course your digital stuff is just as great =)

Doug - your stuff is getting bananas. slow down and let the rest of us catch up!

"Hey Daniel, do you ever do any traditional concept work anymore?"

Occasionally. I'll try to get back into it, it's just inconvenient, a lot of trips to the restroom to get the charcoal washed off my hands...

    Good to hear from you,

    d.
