    Icon Steampunk Character Design

    Hello there beaus and belles!

It's time to pull out your parasols and don your dandiest wear, wind up your clockwork and stoke your boilers.

The challenge is to simply design a character with a Steampunk theme. Full orthos not needed, let your imagination run wild.

Tentative deadline in about a week, if there is enough interest maybe in two weeks or so.

I'm personally volunteering Texahol. (You won't get away easily my friend.)

    Icon Steampunk Gepeto

Ok, here's my entry. Decided I wanted to take mine in the direction of one of my favorite childhood fairytales and mix it up a bit.

After Pinocchio decided he wanted a taste of the "real world," Gepeto went into a creative depression. He seemed to lose the magic that use to be there, and his clients started to shy away as soon as his creations became a bit "scary." Gepeto soon turned to drinking a concoction of his own, and soon the creative juices seem to stir again. Only thing is he got a little too experimental while under his intoxicated state, and found that the only thing he liked working on these days was himself. The result was quite a change, but not the one everyone expected.

Hey, I'll throw my gullible hat in the ring! How does this work, now? Do we all just crank one out, and see where it splatters? Is there actual voting? Do androids dream of electric sheep?

Thats right, just crank one up, post it and we'll organise the voting thread after the td closes.

Hehe, I think they dream of clockwork ones in this thread.

Heck, if you can make the deadline, come on board! I wasn't all that literate with Steampunkishness when I signed on, and I'm finding it a very broad category. Should be fascinating to see how everyone translates it. Carry on!

PS....wish I had your problem, rodriguez. Yeup.
