    ARTRAGE2 FREE painting software

    how many of you are aware of this painting application

    im in love with it ...and im not sure how widely known it is.
    certainly not to be used as a stand-alone, but in conjunction with painter and PS/cs
    its not to be missed!

    i think art rage is shareware, but have everybody tried artweaver (freeware) already?

    I'm curious about artweaver too. It looks like the dreamy blend of painter and photoshop, but that would be too good to be true.

    this is an example of why i love artrage2
    its actualy not freeware. thehttp://conceptart.org/forums/images/editor/menupop.gify sell it for 19.95$
    but they offer a free version that has nearly all the functionality, thats all ive ever used....i supose the 19 bux could be viewed as a donation, as its damn near optional.
    ....its not very robust or deep as an application,
    certainly wont be replacing our favorite softwares...but i do think its impasto is the most practical and believable i have personaly seen...
