Lightbulb How can i paint easier in photoshop?

I wanna start coloring in my drawings in photo shop and i have seen a couple methods used, and i wanted to know what would be best. For example what would you prefer using, a tablet or a mouse or are there other tools to use. i saw someone drawing on the computer screen with a styls thing and i dont know what it was...so any input would be nice. over and out

Everyone will tell you to get a wacom. You just get more natural stroke with it.

The tablet you saw was probably a Wacom Cintiq. Not worth 3000$ in my opinion.

Get a wacom tablet - graphire4 if you are on the fence (approx. $100), Intuos3 if you are serious (6x8 for approx. $330). All other brands are inferior (maybe not entirely true, but wacom is the kingpin). (For more back and forth on tablets just use the search function, probably a million threads)

Even if you are thinking of a less painterly, more cel-shaded style - save yourself the carpal tunnel.

Took me a little bit to get used to it yeah. But it's easy to overcome.

Some people like to use a sheet of paper on top of the pad for a little more resistance.
