    bman - cheers,working on it.
    wbHand - thanks!
    toobs - aw shucks,thanks alot!
thegnoll - cheers! i'd rather restart that one or work on something different though. this was a test to emulate chainsaw's working method. didn't quite work out,but artists never can work the same.
    bummer6 - thanks!

pencil noodling...been reading more than drawing lately.

with your last piece there is too much clutter in my opinion i understand that your trying to show its dark but shouldnt the light be ink free? Glad that your happy with it though thats all that matters.

krato - i agree it's abit cluttered, though i'm not sure which light you mean, the one from the flashlight,or on the surfaces?

    Looking good, mate!
Definately take it easier with the hatching this time around. Make sure it works with just solid blacks + whites before you start with the hatching. You've got some sweet linework going here

I like the first two sheets in post 1026 and the blue creature Will talked about, and I 2nd (3rd actually, since thegnoll was faster in following along) what Will said as well.

My tip would be to have plenty of reference when you try to produce (for the sake of production) and when you do studies - some style and rendering refs can be really good to make it feel as you want to, so that you don't always float freely all nomad style - it works if you have laid down paths before it, but you usually get those paths by learning by rope, or lots of practice.

    and faeces? no

    Dan.

You're a great artist, and your design for the cows are really original, I like your art a lot, but you could still benefit from approaching the figures in a more 3dimensional way, decomposing everything into polygons, you know, the "draw in the marvel way" kind of stuff. If you could combine that with the habilities that you already have, your work would be amazing.

Hello there, i noticed that you have values too close to white in digital, you should take your value range closer to middle values (or just put multiply layer over the character and define it) othervice good improvement!
