reminds me a lot of crumb's work. Your backgrounds look like they have depth, but the line thickness and flat figures make the overall look more graphic to me.

wow, the coloring really improved the quality of the images.
It helped me to discern shapes more because of the improved contrast. However, I think you can do better by adjusting the value of the colors -lighter ones near the foreground, darker in the bg, etc. Right now it seems that many of the colors share the same value.

    Colored the cover sketch

    http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/8...edcovervx2.jpg

Just a question... I tried doing gradients but they kinda took away the attention to the details I didnt want too bight colours, but Imnot sure if others will like it..

Is the simple colour with low saturation ok?

Man, christmas time in an ad agency is like a slave galley, you only rest when youre exhausted or dead. Finally got some time off, and managed to mess around some more with the wacom.

    Another page

    Character sketch

Somebody suggested I try sepia, its not that bad, but still I personally prefer color-

Very interesting style. Reminds me of classic Heavy Metal magazine sequentials.

Haha. That train looks like a favorite for graff artists.

    Looking forward for more.

everything looks cool, but the one thing that is catching my attention is that the blood in all of the pictures that have blood is too light. Blood is a really dark, saturated red, almost black depending on if it's been outside of a human body for an extended period of time. Just go to rotten.com or somewhere like that for some good blood ref
keep it up, got a good SB goin here.

Working on some cover comissions, first time actually trying shades and gradients instead of the shitty flats/2-3 tones in my webcomic.

Here´s the line art for the first cover, drawn with Macromedia Flash

Here´s the coloured version. What did I do wrong/could have done better?

And now this is the second cover Im wrking on, anything that I could do to improve it?
