This is my first post at conceptart. Hopefully the first of many. I humbly present some of my recent work. I'd love some crits. Thanks a lot.

    No image.
Just click on the little paperclip icon at the top of the message box. It will open an attatchment manager. Select "Browse" and and then just upload the files straight from your computer. I hope that made sense.

    Wow, awesome stuff man.
Pretty diverse with your styles and methods of rendering but still contain traits that are very much you.
The first one is my favourite, although im not entirely sure what its about, it looks sick.. nice mix up of rendering styles, graphic and more realistic, representational stuff.

    Keep posting

All of these are very nice, but the first is just fantastic.

One note: the hand in the next to last image looks very small.

    Keep it coming!

    sweet...

i totally dig the ronald mcdonald hot chick...i guess you could say 'i'm lovin it'. HAH. Also, i definitely respect anyone who can pull off a unique cartoony style...one of the most difficult things, in my opinion, that an illustrator can do. Keep it up!

Geez, I overlooked it because of the tiny tiny thumbnails in this thread, and I hate clicking to see each image.

BUT! It was so worth it. Excellent markmaking, exaggerations, and cartooning. I don't dig the more graphic work as much as your others, probably because the line and paint application interaction in most of your work has more character compared to the good-but-typical style in the 5th one. That's about it. Please continue to share, cause it's gooooood.

you have a lot of great potential. your shapes are great i think, and you have a nice grasp on color. the only thing missing now is mileage and exploration. have fun!-c36

this stuff is great, keep rockin it... some of your linework could use tightening up, and some shapes get lost in the coloring.. otherwise nice

this I like! and I would agree with Coro, you are already making some fantastic art but with time and a sustained spirit of adventure you are going to sky rocket.

Wow! guys thanks for all the kind words. I am sincerely flattered and inspired to keep making better and better work. I'll try to comment/critique more work in a couple weeks but my final projects are wrapping up and they're taking some serious time... Right now I'm struggling, though, since I'm a third year computer animation student but truly want to get into illustration and/or visual development. I don't get to draw half as much as I'd like, so much of this work is done in the cracks of time I'm not animating. This warm response definately will keep me inspired to go after my dream and really try to find a balance between animation (which I love as well) and my other art projects. Take care you guys!

    -Francis
