    geisha painting( why didnt i jsut try a bowl of fruit for once)

    being bored i decided to be brave and try something i never attempted before
    so here it is at the moment im trying not to rip the canvas apart since the peice wont come out the way i want it urgh urgh urgh!!!!! its inspired by a still shot form the movie meoirs of a geisha and boy i shud burning in hell for attempting to do it. well tomorrow il put some more work into it.

    It looks alright from what I can see. Tha anatomy is still a bit hard to follow for me. Narrow it down a bit more.

    I hope you go for high value contrast.

    urgh 2 things

    1: never paint when ur angry
    2: think before you do something rather than after doing it you think about what would have happened if you had thought about it.
    parasol u shud have been up last

    be sure to block in all those areas with paint before you start detailing! and dont be afraid to ruin your under drawing, let the paint dictate the form instead

    I often tell myself that, and thats when things start going downhill but ill be patient with this one i actually want to finish it in one peice

    awwww.... =/ well it looks like you decided to paint something a bit overwhelming! why not simplify your idea until you are more comfortable painting? how about you do a close up on her instead of a full shot wih background? the end result should still be exciting to look at! =3
