    Gotta give Stars .

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1163659762 .. is among my favourites

How do you choose your colors? Do you do a lot of experimenting and remember the results? Do you have other artists that inpsire your colour schemes? I find your color choices to be pure genious .
Will appreciate critique anywhere, anytime .

Hey man, thanks for the kind words.

You were asking about colors. I was looking at your stuff and I'm not sure but I'm guessing that you're more of a photoshop guy. I think it's time you give painter a chance. In case you haven't played with Painter lately, IX is more like photoshop than previous versions. The great thing about Painter is the way the colors mix together. It's way better for earthy colors and skin tones. Make sure the "pick up underlying colors" option is on in the "layers" window. Painter isn't great for everything so once you have some good colors you can take the image back to Photoshop and get to business.
Before i started using painter I would have a John Sargeant painting open in photoshop while working on a painting and I could use the eye dropper tool to just grab colors from his paintings.
