Hello again, this time I'll try harder with the updates, here are some more recent studies:

Some torso stylization studies from J. Jones and Frazetta, also practicing the use of more soft brushes.

Quick colour studies from various photo reference. Those were fun should do more. I got the idea of making qick sqary shwatchlike studies from robogabo(I just wish I was that systematic and persistent).

Studies from various artist, those wre realy educational, I learned alot doun those.

    Mecha

Here come the robots! Here's one heavily Evangelon inspired, unfortunately not even half as cool as the EVAs. I tried to finishsh thing faster with fewer brush strokes, still way to go. This one ended up messy as usual:

    - a lot of undefined volumes
    - questionable lightsouce
    - random cast shadows
    - messy background(in kinda bad way)
    - unidentifiable surface matterials

    Now back to more studies.

Wow i finally found your SK Georgy. When i first saw your flying Tribune, beholder and that awesome flying machine art i was shocked. Your other art is ze best either. Maybe i fell in love with those machines cause this is my favourite subject. Dont' even think that you are lazy. I'm looking often to your work for inspiration. I will keen an eye on your SK.

    I'm back

Yes, I'm back, I have some pretty serious reasons for being away from my sketchbook for so long. I'll explain later, when I can provide some visual proof . For now let's say I'm active again and I'll try to catch up and post most of the stuff I managed to do in the past months. For now here's this evenings doodle. A quick improvisation, decided to try end record a video, still trying without any success to crop it and resize it(it ended up being quite huge). Hope to be able to upload it soon.

Also another thing I finally managed to get my blog up and running feel free to check it out, and drop a comment or critic, I'm trying to update it almost on a daily basis.
    http://calader.blogspot.com/

And this is not the only blog I've been up to recently. I starter the dev blog of one of my personal projects I'm doing with a couple of other guys. I sitll have tones of content and art to post there.

A sketch blog we started with some friends trying to cover some basic but necessary exercises again.

And finally we announced BRINK, the game I'm working on at Splash Damage some time ago, so check it out, there's even one or two concept pieces there.
    BRINK

    Tractor Time-laps

And here's the time-laps video, getting this to ti final appropriate size, resolution aspect ration, and compression was a nightmare. It took me an entire night and couple of hours this morning and I still managed to to mess the compression, overall time and speed(it's a bit faster than I would liked it to be), the aspect ratio and so on. So if someone has more experience with this and has a nice, quick and easy pipeline let me know . Finally I hope you like it an it'll be useful to some of you.

Unfortunately the pain doesn't end here, for some weird reason the video cant be embedded in the forum post, the embed code just appears as well code(text).

ps.fixed it many thanks to DanielC !
