    Random Locations

smokenmirrors - thanks may, I feel really motivated and inspired to draw and paint these days hope it'll last for longer than last time. So "mad skills" beware, here I come .
SoundPath - Thank you always happy to inspire. I'll be posting more process images and vids soon I hope.
    The_Flying_Dutchman - I will and thank you!

OK here are some random eviroment studies of locations from Google Street View, found trough http://www.mapcrunch.com/. I've planed to do one each launch break this week but managed to find time only for 3. Maybe 3 per week is a more realistic number, we shall see. One is a street in a Japanese city somewhere, the other two New Zealand I think.

    The Bot Doctor Wip

kingkostas - thanks looking forward to see what areas of the world you'll manage to hit with some studies!
Here's a quick sketch I did in between tasks at work one of the days of last week. There's something I really like about it, that makes me thing I might even try and finish this to a more polished illustration, in between all other things I need to finish .

Wow your googlestreet view idea is great, ive seen this website before but only just made the connection now that that would be a good idea. I'm going to try my hand a doing a few a week too.

You're use of colours and light are great but it would be nice to see more progress work perhaps? Either way i plan to learn a lot from you thanks for posting.

    Five Helmets

NickyBeats - Thanks man, I'm trying skipped several days, because of a book we're preparing with some other Bulgarian concept artists and illustrators, hope it turns out well. And yeah those studies have been fun, I'm also a bit late with the 3 from the past week(only managed to get two done), but I hope the catch up this week. You should definitely try some too!

JohnSKxoxo - Thanks, always happy to inspire!

Jaunay - Yep, definitely try it, I'll be checking your SP to see how it goes . And yeah I'll try and post more progress whenever I can.

nyje - Happy to hear that!

    n1frit - on the way !

surus thank, yes I've been planing to do and post more pencils and charcoals(attempst) will see how it goes.

Here are five quickly rendered in B/W helmets for now, part of a series of 100 that I never finished. Mostly because I planed to render all of them in this way. Will probably post the rest of them at some point in whatever state they're in when I have time to assemble them . The designs are completely random, just an exercise.

    Orthodox Police - Light Priests

midknight523 - thanks, hope to do more, see in what direction things might evolve.

Mattinian - That was one of the best compliments I've ever received and I'm really honoured to be compared to PrometheusANJ in any way! I've learned a lot from him, and I still have a lot more to learn .

    kischi - thank you!

theUNKNOWNsketcher - passable I would say , several more series of those and things could start looking allright!

Here are some more old [neo]martyr concepts/thumbnails. I had some spear minutes and was in the right mood to touch up those a bit and make them more presentable, so here they are!
Those are the three branches of the priest class of the Orthodox police in their light to medium variants.

The Apostle - a sort of a battle priest missionary type character using a range of light weapons. Adept at dealing with hostile situations.

The Holy Smoker - bearing a range of large incense burners and staves and the heavy robes of a higher order.

The Proclamator - Voice of the law of the church.

Your Orthodox Police concept is great! I'm definitely going with the Holy Smoker if it were ever made into a game!
