http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=192127"Everything must serve the idea. The means used to convey the idea should be the simplest and clear. Just what is required. No extra images. To me this is a universal principle of art. Saying as much as possible with a minimum of means."-John Huston, Director
Hello, I'm back again, this time after almost an year . I've been trough some job changing, house moving and ocasional freelancing experiences that have prevented me from updating my SB trough the last several months.
First of all thanks for all the replys and comments mates, I'm really honored getting such replays from such a talented bunch. Thanks again!
So here are some thing I managed to do in between all the work and other ocupations, if I dig up more I'll post them later.
Some character concept sketches for a personal loosely based on folklore themes. Caution! Some seriously bad anatomy examples here:

A quick study from photo:
Random speed, not the most successful one :
Some undead zombie pirate/sailor character studies for an illustration, total mess but fun:
My entry for the NVidia Artspace contest, I'm not very proud of it, especially the ugly thing in the upper-right corner, but it managed to get me in to the honorably mentioned "Hurrray!"
This one is called "The Pinescape Keeps"
Series of studies I did at some point, wanted to do more but got distracted with other things. It was still a nice educational exercise, to concentrate only on color, composition or volumes while I study things. I tried to do some detail studies also, but unfortunately with my A5 tabled it was a total faliure so I won't show them here (note to self: Buy bigger tablet!!! Use pencil for detail studies meanwhile!!!):

Here's a three-legged mutated leprechaun(not sure about the spelling)I did on the London sketch meet up I visited only once due to lack of time. Next one is a random thief char. Things here are starting to get really inspired by Joao Ruas, I can't help it I love his style:

Some character thumbs strongly influenced again by Joao Ruas:
Some more recent random launch break characters:
Random birdmen and some helmets, just for warming up:
Couple of heads:

And finally...two crappy robot sketches:
That all I managed to collect for now, some of it is most recent some not so. Hope to get the chance to post again soon.
