    I think you didn't.
I didn't like much Hancock either. It looked to me as if it was directed by Will Smith.
I liked your stuff on the naked-classroom-inverted-roles kind of thing.
About the man made of sharks: I thought at first that they couldn't be very scary if they were out of the water. But then again, I didn't take in consideration that your idea was much worse: Death stinking sharks. Oh my god... The Horror... The Horror.

Your sketches make me lol. Gotta love batman. I like how you do your chunky pencil shading... I might try that out, since I really need to practice shading 'cos I avoid it like the plague, ahaha.

The rawness of your sketches is great. It's messy but so...nice. The fan-comics and gags are funny as well. Jean Paul Valley should've taken over the mantle permanently...

hullo! i found you from your post on /ic/. i absolutely LOVE your sketchbook. i know a lot of people so far have told you to be more "economic" (as one person put it) with your lines and whatnot, but i'm really liking that aspect of your drawings.

i didn't know you were the one to do the "congrats you are batman" comic (i saw it in /co/ one day). i kid you not, i sat at my laptop crying because i was laughing so hard.

i sadly have no advice for improvement, but that is because i am too in love with your work keep it up!

I read this sketchbook for the comics alone.
I woke up the next door dog with laughter alone.
Is your fault for being damn funny.
Keep at it, lousy dog can fuck off anyway.

Back down to 4 stars! No way! Been following your sketchbook for a while. Now that you're at 4 stars, gotta get you back to 5! and I'll post a reply while I'm at it.

Amazing imagination you have, love the way you convey emotions in your pictures.

You probably agree, but do some more colour studies from life or reference! Digital, or paint. There are many things you can learn from colour that would be harder to learn by doing drawings in black & white.

Specifically, things like reflected light and mixing different lights/light-sources. When you do studies in colour you can more easily identify how reflected light affects objects. Then you can translate this knowledge into your pencil drawings. Once you know how light behaves it's easier to reproduce - in any medium. Even though you don't have the option of reproducing the colour when using pencil, you can see how how the reflected light affects value.
