that suv post hits very much close to home. I live in the ghetto part o town (crime, drugs, Shopping carts all over, dirty streets, graffiti etc). One of my neighbors, was driving a 2007 (back in o7) Cadillac Escalade, loaded, dropped, custom wheels with diamond-like embedded gold trim spinners, a sound system that best buy would envy, and ground effects that were custom made and fitted or it. The dashboard was also custom cherry wood and had a tv pop up when parked. He also lived in a 2 bedroom run down shack of a house along with his 6 kids and his wive's other 3 kids and some other brothas...in that same house. They lived in a crap shoot, but man...they looked damn good coming and going from it.
He got so much attention over it that the cops started a sting, and set up a extremely obvious lookout station. sure enough, about 2 weeks after getting that suv, he was busted with what looked like a trunk load of green, tightly packaged tea leaves. As well as about four or five white ones. I havent seen him since.
The SUV was featured in the local newspaper as a local police seizure, and is currently in tour with the words"D.A.R.E." across the side. If you ever see that truck, remember it used to belong to my neighbor.

<Sam>: So, that 5 gorgeous sketchbook I bought today? I sit down to do the first page thinking "Oh wow, this is gonna be awesome - I'm gonna fill it with great drawings and keep it forever" and all that shit.
<Sam>: Open the book, thick black ink pen in hand and say "Right, what shall I put on the first page?... Hm, a nice "SKETCHBOOK" with doodles around will do while I wait for inspiration"
    <Sam>: I get to "SKETH" and realise I've missed out a C
<Sam>: My heart stops - my lip trembles... Do I rip out the page? No! I'll improvise - I'll turn that C into a H with stripes! Yeah, that works.
<Sam>: Okay, now I can carry on
<Sam>: I finish writing it and have a look at my handiwork
<Sam>: and then I see it
    <Sam>: "SKETCBOOK"
    <Sam>: Fuck

"The Ecstasy of Gold" is, I think, one of the most beautiful pieces of music in all of film. Here it is played by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, as part of Metallica's S&M concert.

Someone set up a live webcam of their 6 puppies. So you can randomly watch them playing, sleeping, and bounding around aimlessly.
