    I really got into that series recently. I never would have liked it as a kid when the show came out (but I remember it) becuase I never would have gotten most of the jokes.

    They creased me up as a kid but yeah I still have no idea who half the american celebrities or food brands they reference are, but they only make up like 87% of the gags so its ok.

    If like me your girlfriend inexplicably loves the Twishite series I strongly recommend the Rifftrax voiceover soundtracks (Rifftrax is the same guys as MST3K without the puppets or the lame sketches), it makes the whole experience bearable.
