What are those little dots on her face? Pores? Freckles? Kinda looks like she's sick with something.
Maybe remove them or make them more subtle.

on your value studies, really look hard for how the form rolls and creates hard and soft edges. if you get the edges fixed up, it will help get rid of the slight muddy look you have right now. Also using a huge brush to block out large areas helps keep the planes more consistent.

    nice studies though

    Omerta- Thanks, I appreciate it!

Texahol - Man you called it, I had a heck of time blending the skin. It was like if I took it too far I began to lose the form and it would flatten out, but if I didn't take it far enough it looked "muddy" blotched. I appreciate the crit, and the tip about the large brush.

Here's an enviro I did last night..

Back to the value studies and traditional stuff, tried out some of the tips Texahol gave me about trying to find the edges.

    BIGGER BRUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!
especially when using the soft brush, just make it really big, then go in with a smaller but not suuuper small hard brush to get the other forms...and hammer out the hard edges

Texahol - Haha, I'm trying man! I used some bigger brushes on this next piece. Also only took about 1/3 of the time as the last one.

J-Food - Thanks bro, yea I suppose I have a knack for it.
