Looking good there sir! My one suggestion right now would be to try and get a more natural blending of the skin tones.

Your portraits are so frickin' amazing... They remind me about how much I still have to learn. Great, great job!

JailHouse - Thanks man, its been a long haul. All those years of cartooning and defining shapes with lines has been tough to unlearn. These value studies really help me try to define shapes.

Zou - Appreciate that, I got some good crits on another board, and went back to try and soften up the edges a bit. Pretty pleased with the results.

Liffey - Yea no doubt, something I've really been working on...getting there, getting there.

Arthe - Thank you, that's a great compliment. I'm still learning though too!

Brun - Thanks, and will do!

Spent a little more time on Stripes:

Here are a few sketches, I've been bumming around with for the TEAM CHOW exercise. Sorry they're a bit rough, just brainstorming. We went with an artic fantasy theme:

Ortho for my character in the Team CHOW II contest. Spent a bit more time on the side view polishing it up.

kingkostas - thanks man, yea that was a pretty dynamic pose.

I did a quick video on how important a good photo reference is for me, especially when working on complex anatomy. I posted this for a fellow CHOW teammate so I hope it helps, feel free to take a peek:
