HI there. Not a bad way to start off a SB thread by a long shot. My fav's the colour portrait (oils?) Not so hot on the robotic dog thing, looks too convoluted (if that's the word.)

Nice mechanical stuff and the painting is very pretty.

I like the Lara Croft one even thought it's unfinished, cause you downsized her boobs substantially, and she looks like an actual (although badass) person! Woo.

that's an absolutely gorgeous painting, and the lara croft piece has a fantastic softness to the rendering. I also really like seeing how you worked through the robotic piece in layers.

keep it up man! The workshop will be a blast for you.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I haven't figured out how to put comments under each image...grrr. The painting above is 8x10 oil on panel study of a girl I was able to bribe into sitting for me. The Lara Croft drawing is really old and has gotten quite damaged over the years.

Below are some more recent life drawing/painting from 10 & 20 minute poses plus a copy after zorn:

Some sculpture concept sketches in waterclay or supersculpey, about an hour each plus an abandoned bust of Anthony Hopkins in Chavant NSP clay. I posted some of these b4 under my brother's account.

Good stuff man. That's the first I've seen of your painting. I particularly like the Zorn copy. It has beautiful soft feel to it.

    Thanks Steen.
The sculpts are from 4 years ago...damn I miss sculpting. My entire stash of clay have all dried on me, except the WED Clay which is awesome stuff (stands for Walter E. Disney clay).

Do you recognize the first painting above - Girl named Alex from Eckerd figuredrawing?

She's not ringing a bell at the moment. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled next time.

Hey, can I ride in your suitcase to insomnia?
