I wanted to ask, is there such a thing as a a book that breaks down the different make-ups of a structure? I'm mostly looking into gothic cathedrals, but modern structures would work as well as long as I can learn architectual knowledge in general.
If so, what are the books and where can I buy them? If you don't have a book for recommendation but know that there are several books out there (only I can't find them or I can't spot them), it'd be awesome if you can give me the right "terms" so I can search for them in Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com or something. So far, the word "Architecture" doesn't show me much except visual books.
