sup callops, dig those trees, the strokes works well to create a bark effect.
For the mecha character, i think some contrast on the skin would help wth the volume, especially in the areas where few lights can reach, under the arm, low belly.. etc. And a cast shadow would really help stick this dude to the ground. I dont comment often but you really progressed, your lines are getting really really neat.

    Hey man!

Haven't had time to look through the whole thing, as I'm at school, but thought I would stop by.

I like the geisha a lot, just watch the index finger on her left (our right) hand.

Just looked over most of the sketchbook and I must say it's another inspiring one with all the improvement inbetween then and now. You have a great imagination as well as I like a lot of your character designs. It's probably something I should do more often. My advice is to work on consistency in your work, because I see some sketches with freer, more gesturely lines from a few pages back. It could be that you're experimenting that they look a little different, and that's totally cool, because I'm doing that a lot nowadays. I'd also like to see you push your digitals too (although I can't say much there since I'm totally new to that area). Anyway, I look forward to seeing more stuff!
