Perhaps if we could see some anatomical studies we're able to get you further.

hi to all

c&c are welcome ppl
If u ask my opninion...then i'd like to say only one thing...try to feel the form..the structure..shading wont help u to give the feel of dimension if the structure is not believable. spend MORE time in drawing..refer/study Andrew Loomis and/or Bridgmen's books.
this is just my personal opinion..hope u dont mind.
Keep working HARD !!!
I see the progress, i see it, keep at it i also recommend you "succesfull drawing" from andrew loomis, it has a nice explanation on how to shade objects (warning of nudity) http://fineart.sk/ and also try studying your own nose, mouth, eye, separately, and shade them to perfection, that will help you a lot im sure, and keep working HARD!
knok knok .. oh .. somebody is there ..
shyam : thanks for reply re yeah i have started that and trying to learn perspective in it . I will try to concentrate on drawing and try to be perfect on shape. I think i dont have bridgeman's book .. where i can get it ?
christian : thanks buddy, thanks for the link and those guidelines, keep your eye here ..
thanks ppl !
I think you should throw the digital painting stuff aside for a month or so and practice with pen and paper for a while.
Try studying anatomy as well as Colour Theory. It's more important than it is.
Play with what you learn and you will learn from your play.
hope to see more. peace
Where can you get bridgmans books?, try this thread http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=94571
Christian223 : thanks buddy .. thats huge archive .. thanks millions
ped454 : Thanks for dropping by ... i note your suggestion.

thanks for dropping by !
Nice skull progression, watch your light though, in the picture the area inside most of the left socket is just as bright as the light reflecting off the top of the frontal lobe same for the teeth...good stucture!
these are recent sketches ..
sorry for not being regular .. but i am sticked to it ..
in first sketch i tried to draw some circles to get control over shape. when i though i achieved a bit then i tried one head ..
Some more studies from Andrew loomies book..
