i don't know if you wanted this bumpy aspect on the last rendered portrait in my opinion i think its a little bit to much you need to have bumpy and smooth surfaces near one and other to have a good balance, when all its bumpy your eye gets bored ... its like seeing a long long pattern
i am not necessary right its just a thing i learned that repetition its not always a good idea
i know that you completely reworked my design, but originally the lower part of the gun is intended to be the ammo holder.
so after you fired out a cartridge, you could reload it with a kind of pump-action move. or better, with a double-pump-reverse-action-move.
on the other hand, i think the smaller typo is the better in this case :-)
i cant wait for it to be finished, not to mention the armor
Some really cool stuff here! Nothing to crit.
Except for one thing: Color
As I was browsing your SB I found a post from a guy that was made more than two years ago and he said that:
...most of your color schemes are pretty stable but simple, try composing with all seven colors. I too like using a very limited palette because it's easy to control but I think some of the best paintings are the ones that balance every color and shade and make it work.
I can only second it. When you use a bit more colors (like in that kitsune pic) they kinda' don't come together, you just paint some parts of the pic to the same color, but your colors don't interact with each other or with lighting. I'd say you should do some color composition studies (or simply go as crazy with your colorwork as you do with your linework )
Other than that - great sketchbook. Keep on postin'!
soros> thx, i will be on to do more classic study work,
Novbert> thx crit and advise, you got right with colors, but i really love clean colors, but i will try to make more mixed surfaces with them
Jephyr X > thnx !
AustenFM> thanks, i usually create props and environment elements for 3dcartoon animation projects . sometimes i can create some figures too, but many of these cartoons will never be produced as a finished film, the most of them are just a project idea/concept, than money and producers will choose what are they want
some fun 3d work on a free fps network games creature> the "TYRANT" from the game "tremulous"
Great stuff here. I like the tyrant, reminds me of starship troopers. I also agree with novbert about the color palette, although im not one to judge much with color as im learning to expand mine too. Great stuff though, i enjoyed looking through it.
p.s. the cowboy bebop fanart was sweet, inspired me some to do a little fanart myself
i dont have the time now, so i will edit my thanks later here, but thx you guys all the comments!!
fragmentedchimp: Thx! I have consistently try to change my workflow, with more mind and brain to use in the rendering, hope it will be help me later, to dont need to use my brain, just use skills like instinct
Tafrid: thx!!! i wll work on my color handling , i promise
Jorge Gecov: thx!!! hope next post will also match to your taste ;p
kingkostas: thanks! i ll try to create some 3d, an 2d pieces in the near future , all with more details than my older works, so create stuff to improve, and create a stronger portfolio

Now that's the problem here! There is no such thing as "study" "from mind"
azaz ne szégyelld a fotót, ha nincs kéznél 1 benga állat aki pózol neked.
Btw I like those guys. Nem tudom értelmesen leírni angolul, hogy tök jó terük van (nem az hogy tök jól térbe vannak, bár az is igaz).
And I really like the big empty underwaterspace scene too.
Although I don't think there should be any other big thing in the composition (it's a good way, just not necessary).
There are possibilities for thousands of little details what should make this piece showing a real believable place,
and not a design showroom. Look at sparth's flickr page and what he's doing nowadays... ugh.
