Unhappy having a problem with my wacom

just having a few slight probs with my wacom in photoshop, im not exactly sure what i did to cause the problems, but any help available would be much apreciated.
for some reason it seems to no longer sense pen pressure, ie. when i change the brush atributes to take in account pen pressure, it just doesnt do it.

the other thing is, i am finding it hard to get a smooth line with my tablet, alot of things are coming out rather sharp edged.

hope somone out there knows whats going on for me

Download the most recent drivers from Wacom's web site. Sometimes tablets randomly require re-installation of the drivers.

Datameister is right tho, pressure goes off from time to time for no reason.. maybe it's PS playing up.. but usually restarting gets things back on track.

You could try going into device manager, disableing and reenableing the tablet. Works for someone I know.

I have found that usually when photoshop turns the pressure sensitivity off is because you have something in the background that "changed state", for example a media player that finished playing a movie, a pop-up, stuff like that. Alot of the time it is enough just to change to that application to acknowledge the change and then alt tabbing back to ps. I hope that made sense.
