Thanks James! Yeah, probably I didn´t achieve the effect I was looking for.He is some kind of hero and I wanted him to be under the rays of the sun, brighter than the rest of the troops!

These little monks build their shrines underground into deep caves but always trying to make them very luminous playing with the light beams that leak through the walls using highly polished stones as mirrors.
If you want to be the ultimate warrior, better try to find them, and if you succeed, stay with them for a year training hard.

where's my "me gusta" face? can't properly view this without my "me gusta" face...
especially dig the warm atmosphere of the light filtering into the cave.

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my sketchbook!

Your sketchbook is amazing! I love how you use color in your characters. They all look very colorful. Great environment paintings! I like the brush texture that the paintings have. The shark has to be my favorite. Love the character design! Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait for more!

    d'artagnan, eh?
the only thing that slightly feels off is how his right arm (despite perspective) is so much thicker than the left.
great compromise between lines and paint otherwise! i'd love to be able to pull that off.

Neat updates, all of these fantasy characters have been great! The subterranean shell wearing monk was hilarious, enviro shots are easy to get lost in as well.

Cool beans, keep up the hard work!

I just sampled back through your entire sb...you showed some skill way back when but really shine now! Love the way you combine your art and color chops and anatomy to create your cartoony characters and scenes.

Both points are something I aspire too.

Whoa! Nice use of perspective blur on that snow troll, i dont usually see it pulled off that well, very believable! I also like how your digital coloring is evolving as of late. Bee-King warrior is hilarious as well, love all the variation in your characters~ I don't understand how this could still be at 4-stars... o:

    Fun stuff, keep it up!

    Eh... maybe pretty good?

Great progress over the years! Your passion and dedication shows. You made your greatest weakness (light) into your greatest strength in a short time... (2006-2008).

    Highlights for me:

Stuff after that was pretty much all 5 star stuff anyway... very good. Some of it saved to inspiration folder.

Good luck on doing much more and having a lot more fun.
