Holy shit, man! I leave this thread alone for a little bit, and you go an post a freakin' awesome dinosaur sculpt without me even knowing it! No fair!
Really, man, that Styracosaurus is an extraordinary piece of work. If someone had told me a professional paleo-artist has sculpted that, I wouldn't have been surprised. Keep going with it! You're doing wonderful stuff already!

    And happy holidays!!

Hey Moai!!Thanks a lot!!Though is not that good!!I finished the sculpt some weeks ago and made a resin cast. The molding process has been a hell. Not easy at all, maybe because it was my first time!Well, here is the baked version.I´ll show you the painted one once finished.

Thanks Dan!!!Now I am more into sculpture (paleo sculpture) I love dinos, and I prefer to model them than to draw them, touch them and feel the volume, the muscles...next one will be a Ceratosaurus or an Albertosaurus. And someday I´ll model some of my monsters from imagination!
    Sculpture is sooo cool!!!!

My goodness, man, those sculptures are just...wow. Your drawings and paintings have always been good, but those sculptures are amazing, on a whole level beyond anything I've seen from you before.

    Hi all and thanks!!!

Trutze, I am using Super Sculpey!I´ll post some more progress shots, the piece has changed considerably lately (that left hand was horrible...now is a little better)

But first I thought that this SB needs some more 2D!!!I revisited my Lilith portrait to develop a character for a contest. Is the first time I participate in a contest and I know I am not going to win at all but it was fun and I quite like the character!
