The concept designs for your Harryhausen book are looking great... especially the monster design.
Your new covers fit the style of the old ones.

The best image is your last one for lms3. The colors are great!

Just a (very) quick one for today...

Dynamike: Thank you very much. Great you like my stuff so far

Flesheater: Thank you. I hope too but there are so much good entries... let's see how it works out.

Here is a quick colortest I did for my comic work. I want to use a quick and good looking style for sequentials... maybe this is something which will work!?

    Attachment 296246

Please no comments on the sketches... I know they are not working
I just needed something to color.

    Best,

    Chris

I like the Alpha Bettie stuff the best. It'd be cool to see you post up some studies, especially perspective and faces.

Thanks for dropping by my sketchbook

    Concept Art

Hey Dynamike... maybe like this one here...?

    Attachment 299625

It's a concept design I did for a new workshop series in the german Game Developer magazine 'GameStar/dev' which will be out in a few weeks. I will show how to make 3D models from concept art like this image.

    Best,

    Chris

PS: Somehow I haven't seen the posts of Sepulverture and jfulgencio. So a big Thank you to you both!

    Wohoo!

theelusiveyoda: Thank you very much! Great to see you like my stuff! I'm always working on getting better... and it is very motivating to see the practice pays off Thx again!

flamable: Thx! Off course I will show the 3D model... but it will take some months because it has to be out in print first before I can show it.

mentler: Can't thank you enough for this! I really appreciate the 5 Stars. And it means a lot getting them from you! Your drawings are a big inspiration! Thanks again!

Here is some concept stuff from my creator owned comic project 'Maya':

Cool stuff. I admire your patience for doing this kind of comics.

I dig this female character from post #108. It's propably for some other project but it reminds me for some reason of some Fremen character from Frank Herbert's "Dune" novel.

    Cheers.

The maya character is cool and hot,:p
little thing: I think the lower right leg of maya in the last illustration is a little off.

Your MAYA sketches are more like what I want to see here. Not the house
Don't get me wrong... I like the house too but hot naked chick sketches I like more

Now I want to see and read more about this creator owned thing of yours... it really looks like something very cool... not only because of the naked flesh

    Maya Character Concept Design...

Farvus: Thank you! Doing comics is what I ever wanted to do. I'm glad I became a freelancer and now can work on comic projects... for me nothing is as satisfying as telling stories with pictures. The female character from post #108 was a test speedpainting for no particular project. Maybe I should do more of this quick stuff with a special theme... mhhh!?

cgfelker: Thank you very much! Great you like my style.

Exquisite Beast: Thank you. I will show some images of the 3D model and maybe a tutorial after the next issue is out. Stay tuned.

mysteryofalbesila: Thank you very much! It is great to read you like Maya most because it is my own 'baby' and I want it to succeed Thx again!

Farin: Thx very much! Great you like my girls I bet you visited because of the small thread pic right? hehehe ... thx again!

Flutic: Thank you! You are right with the leg. For my comic stuff especially concept designs I don't rework the art because I think with many projects at the same time it is better to have quantity before quality. I'm a perfectionist and had to learn I can't put the time I want into each piece of my work... so I have to live with this kind of things for now and get better in the future. Great you like MAYA! Thanks again!

Dynamike: Thx! It seems to me that MAYA is already working because of the character. It proofs you can never be wrong with a female lead... hehe

Flesheater: Thank you! Another fan... great!

So for all new Maya fans... here is a new one of your favourite comic girl ... and her 'finger' isn't meant for you!...:
