Eh, I could say the opposite...well, I'll be sure to keep up with your SB, I really liked what I saw. Unfortunately I have no creativity, unlike you
    =/

@28chelsea- You mean the old man with a turban? I was working hard on that before, but then I got some nice pens (not my new ones, before that) and I have been sticking with pen work for the most part. =P I think I'll work on it some more, I'll need to post it in the crit. section though, especially for colour help. =/

A quick little pen portrait, very small, no ref. I was going to work on it some more, when unfortunately, my ink bottle when splashing to the floor. My moms a clean freak so I scrambled around cleaning up this 2x2 foot blob on ink on the tile (thank god it was tile) and got it cleaned up right as she walked in.
But now I'll have to go buy some more and she'll wonder what happened to the one I had, and I'll have to tell her I spilled it...=(

Worst thing is I just got it yesterday...

Hey, thanks for dropping by my book, I had a lot of fun looking through yours. Great to see your variety of methods of study with a focus on drawing from life - I wish i had done that earlier. You've made a lot of progress and i'm looking forward to seeing you make a lot more!

Nice sketchbook! Your studies are really paying off. Great work with the pens and charcoals in particular on the toned paper. Good progress indeed

Hey drd, some decent stuff here, I would like to give pointers on your painted pieces, especially the wips in #186-187, try blocking in all the features of the face rather than going into individual features and rendering them all out(as you were with the nose and eyes), work a bit here, a bit there, its much easier! Keep it up.

I'll take that into consideration, thanks! I think I've kind of been doing that in my latest painting, working a bit on everything. I'll Definitely do better in this new one, I don't think I'll be finishing the older one now.

Good updates! There's some good form in the toned paper figures, although a lot of your arms are too short.
No other new crits that haven't been said before. Keep it coming man!

Hey Dude, your stuff looks pretty good! Here and there some mistakes or proportions off, but thats just a matter of practice. So draw draw draw! Have fun!

    Flaskpost: Thanks, I appreciate it!

Cuppa: I had just noticed the length of the arms last night, like you said. Now that I look through most of my stuff, they're all short. Either that or too long. Nothing practice won't cure, though. Thanks for stopping by =)

Pascallo: Yeah, like I was saying up there, actually I stole your post, =P; Thanks for the reply!

Found an amazing reference site, you guys need to check this out if you haven't seen it yet: http://characterdesigns.com/index.php?sitepage=home
    All uncopyrighted/royaltyfree.

    Ex: DRD's sketches

The amount of stuff in there is staggering, they have regular pose sets, special sets like poses made especially for core shadows, ninja sets, etc. Just a lot of nude models, I just did one now, so here it is:

EDIT, Another one below it. Head too small, foot too small, etc

I might have said this before, but you make very expressive power images. I hope you are making a living through art alone. If not, if you keep at it, you will.

Bluefalcon: Me too, hope we can both get better! Np about the site too =P

Sabe: Wow, thanks, I'm flattered. =P Well, no I don't have a job in art yet, my next job will probably be bagging groceries, since I'm only 15 =( Just a student right now //
I really hope to get a job in art though, I think that would be the best profession one could have

if you keep at it you'll really see your drawings evolve and it'll be fun to watch how your own personal style develops, you are very young and you have a lot of time to have fun and experiment this is a really good start, ESPECIALLY the paintings

Eskanto: Thanks for stopping in, I appreciate the encouragement. It's what keeps me going most of the time, until I learn to really have fun doing it. Tonight was a fun night, 3 figure studies, 3rd one farther down, still a wip though.
    Thanks again!

Ped454: No problem! Happy to help, I knew it was gold. Thanks so much for taking your time to throw a comment down here. =P

Last one for tonight, will finish tomorrow morning probably. Fresh eyes will do better.

Daniel: Yeah, that's my name, =). I'll try to, thanks for stopping by!

    Dile: I will, (hopefully) thanks!

Ville de la Rhine: I dunno, actuaslly it was about half shading with the side of my pencil and half hatching, so if that tells you anything. Thanks!

Another one for this morning, or afternoon, call it what you want. I'm sure there are anatomical issues, there'll always be, lol. Not quite finished, example being her left breast atm
