Unhappy going away to quit smoking

My parents have agreed to let me go away for a week or so, I can quit smoking (because they both smoke and its so annoying have them blowing it in my face when I've been trying to quit in the past and ended up starting again) but this time I'm going to do it I cant afford it seen as I'm now job less any way I'm going away later on today I dunno when I'll be back home or if I'm even going to venture back.

If I dont vernture back home I'll find away to post more art on the web site have fun everyone and catch ya's later

thanks everyone I've manged to a few times and for one reason or another I've started again but I have more reason to do it now my parents are buying me a motor Bike for my 19th if I mange it so I have something to look forward to at the end of it, mood swings and my bad temper is already starting to show and its only been 14 hours since I quit! about to go and finish a painting that I started 4 years ago to take my mind of it and my grandmother wont let me move in with her for a week she said " Your too bloodly messy piss of back home" so I'm stuck with my parents while I do it but if I mange it I'm throwing a bloodly party!

Best of luck! I'm sorry your parents aren't going to be there to support you. Keep in mind that when you succeed, that'll eventually put you in a place to help them. But in the mean time stay stubborn with yourself. You can do this and you can keep doing this.

Good luck man... Ive tried to totally quit a bunch of time and I would stop for a week, or even a few weeks bt, ultimately start again.. the worst part about it is that I really dont like smoking.. its just a bad habit now... one thing that I do know for sure that helps me is doing cardio excersize... It helps cuz you get really fustrated quickly on how much you struggle when your jogging or doing whatever cardio excersize... and then you really notice the difference after just three days without smoking and doing your cardio how much more excersize you can do.. I remember that when I started running I could only do about 15 laps.. then on the third day I remember I had done like 35 laps... That gave me super motivation... unfortunately I got lazy and stopped going to the gym and ultimately went back to smoking.. stay strong... its worth it.. especially at your age...
Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd

I like candy GIVE! GIVE! My grandmother did buy me 300 lollies for me to suck on and it does help I think most of the problems people have with given up id that they are that use to putting something to their mouths its just getting off the lollies and candy once you've up that is the next hurdle to over come at midnight last night I handed over 200 ciggerettes to my parents that i had bought and hidden in my room but I'm glad I'm given up because I want to be able to play rugby again and go running and stuff and I find it so hard to do those things because I'm always out of breath and it isnt really attactive either and I'm only attarcting junkies and time wasters by smoking I dont like it and its starting to make me physically sick by smoking I wish I had never started and I'm not sure why I did in the frist place I've never really been a weak person and never given into anything or anyone in my life and I proved a year and half ago that I'm not weak by leaving someone that was treating me badly and badly hurting me it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but I did it so I know I have the will power to do this its getting my parents to quit with that the problem is, well my mother my father annoys the crap outta me and I dont have the time of day for his lazy arse any way thanks for the surrport if I mange it your all invited to my party I'll be having!!

Poison, instead of a cigarette, I want you to go draw a dragon. You have one hour. It must kick ass. GO!

Hah! I've never touched a cigarette and I have a bad temper and mood swings--don't need those to do it to me

From my experience that's the best motivation to quit putting nasty stuff into your body. I had a Mt. Dew addiction (I know, it doesn't compare to cigarettes, and it hasn't been clinically proven, but I swear that shit's addictive) that I kicked this spring because it was doing various f-ed up stuff to me.

    Best of luck to ya!

:-) Shiney! I think every time you feel like you want a cigarette, you should draw another dragon. If you're feeling grouchy, you can draw them ripping someone's head off. If you're feeling down, you can draw one that's elegant or friendly.

    Cheers!
