    Demon Rises!

    Hi friends

I first wanted to draw a Werwolf but it suddenly turned to be a lycan,or a beast. at last it makes me feel he rises at the end of the world and i think he can be a demon too, i used this colores to make a sence of emptyness and nowhere,!!
I colored it in Painter IX.5 and photoshop, it took about 3 days to color it,
I hope u like this, comments are welcome!!!
    Thanx,

looks really good mate. I would say that if it was the end of the world, somthing a bit more intresting goin on in the background would be nice, like smouldering cities or somthing like that.

I like it. Very ghoulish. Some crits:

    - the tiny, thin veins on his throat
    - there's a strange grey overlay on top of his pelvic area
    - the size of his right foot
    - the bright pupil. Like the dark eye sockets of the sketch more.

Overall, I don't think the colors are favourable. I know you wanted them this way, but some saturation would help create tension. The green hue of the clouds is cool, but the creature looks bland.

EDIT: No crits for the sketch, it's wonderful. Love the easiness.

i agree that the creature could use a little bit more contrast. definitely in his lower body.

however, on the above critique, personally, i like the excess veins, i think his right foot looks fine [could use some more shading, it is under his leg] and i dig the light pupils [bring focus, act as catch lights in animal photography]. i think the piece looks great over all.

Very cool concept. I think your colors choices are fine - gets the message across. I do think that you could have pushed the contrast a little farther though, making the darks darker and the lights lighter; help to make things POP! He just looks like an ANGRY s.o.b. that I would not want to meet in a dark alley way.

vary nice painterly look, nice design on the creature and i love the detail in the chest and head.About the whole illustration, i would have used a more "dramatic" hue, add details to the bg OR i would have used a vertical canvas, and i would have made him howl or something, but its ok.Dig the style, just the one i like

    show us some more

    ciao
