I'm looking through my art work later on today most of it is A3 and too big for my scanner but I'll think of something (like stealing her friends camera)

I came here from the stop smoking thread.

Now draw a dragon. Now draw a dragon with burn holes in its wings from cigarettes; poor dragon cannae fly no more... awww.
Or maybe a dragon with yellow hair and teeth, burn holes, wrinkles round its mouth, yellow uhm... something equivilant to fingernails. You know, all that.

Anyhoo, nice dragon. Now steal your friend's camera and show us your pencil sketches.

The dragons much better, the first look like youve just put a gradient map over some photos.

Keep drawing and you'll get a much better response.

    some corrections

    here are some corrections

    My sketch book* updated regually*

    purple -extensions

    red- should not be there

i aint one to pic alot buti see alot of problems to create a realistic dragon, the face is to disproportioned , since when it comes to creatures there is alot of debate, here is a tip scientific a bit actually, look at a hawk sanke and tiger put the bodies together and youll get a good dragon very beliaveable and realistic

Ev'sSketchbook for the lazy minded but willing!

i knew that there was mistakes and i wasnt aiming for something realisic. it was a bit of fun and in future could u not draw all over my work please i find it rude...

Aw, Poison_art, he's only trying to be a bit helpful.
Though I do like the phrase 'realistic dragon'.

And where are you? Where's that dragon with the smoking ill-effects? Oiii...

Yeah, I see what you mean, I'm not having a go at you or anything.

Anyway, pray tell, how's the non-smoking thing going?

I do like the flowers; especially the first flower sketch.
Though the one part that I'm not a great fan of is that on the portrait type things the lips seem a little flat, but that can be resolved.

Hey man, nice stuff. I like your watercolor flower.
Just remember to REALLY keep it easy on those lines. Firstly, put down some lighter guidelines before you commit a line to paper. Also, experiment with line weights... it can make a big difference.

Also, when you're working with subject matter like bright colourful flowers, you might want to at least put down a light colour wash (complimentary colour perhaps?) as the background. Makes the flower itself pop out of that page, and that is a good thing.

    Keep it up!

As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle being swept along is no longer enough.

    *update*

This is my first update since going to universty i havent been able to get online 1) becuase i dont have a computer and 2) i'm expecting a baby and just havent had time to get my work onto the computer but i've had to take time out of universty so i have more time on my hands.

I've got some work to post up which i'll be doing tomorrow. I'm doing a scienctific and natural history illustration and i'n going down a botantical root at the minute i'm doing a project on a primrose dont ask me the latin name off the top of me head becuase i cant tell you. i post most of the research and the actual pieces.

i dont have as much work done as i would like due to the fact i've had a differcult pregancy and i've been really ill but my tutors seem pleased with my work. i'll look forward to any feed back anyone has on my work.

You dont seem to have much more of your work online which is a shame, unless you have a site im missing i love the style you have done it in

I hope you dont mind me saying but looking at your concept art profile you and the father look really young i hope your able to keep up your art with all that pressure of a child at your age!
