I decided to go to New York for an 'art trip' and travel back and forth Boston,
just for the Sargent paintings there
Now I was wondering if anyone could provide me (travelling alone) with a place to stay for a couple of nights.
New York seems quite expensive, accomodations wise..
I'm easy going, won't cause much of a hassle and can cook a hell of a spaghettisauce
I don't need a bed. The floor, bathtob, couch , whatever..is fine haha..
Also didn't book the exact flight dates but am thinking early to mid november.
( as long as I'm back before the 25th, the NY marathon pushes plain tickets
sky high then )
Eagerly awaiting your reply's.
I was waiting with making final flight reservations till I had made
all accomodations final. Trying to avoid overpriced last minute hotel bookings.
I'm looking at going 10 or so days with going to Boston for 1 or 2.
between 10 november and 25 november. Dates could vary a day or two
depending on plain ticket availability.
Or does anyone know of any cheap hostels in the centre of New York?
DSillustration: I'll see if I can make it, thanks for the link. wish I could just
pay at the entrance though.
Thanks for the link Emily !
( still looking for people who don't mind a european guy on their couch a few nights )
its pretty easy to find places to sleep in the city. theres a k-mart on 8th st that i go to and i always thought if i was a bum i'd just go there before they close, grab a pillow from the pillows section, and then find one of the huge cabinets they have, close it and sleep in it.
Ok, Dates are set! I'll be arriving monday 13th of November and leaving saturday
, the 25th of November. Woot!
( still looking for some peeps to house me )
Lohan : Thx for the advice....I guess.. but I prefer spending my nights in NY for
the first time in a legal way.
