I'm planning on applying to Sheridan's Computer Animation course [ found here ] and I'm looking for a little info to help with my application process. You can see that they have a page called "Admission Requirements" and it notes that you need a portfolio. What I'm looking for is more information on exactly what should be in that portfolio. I want to make the most out of my application, so any tips would help, especially from those who have been through the program themselves.
well, just to let you know it's a graduate certificate.. which means that in most cases you need to have gone through a full traditional animation course in order to be considered for admission.. so like a 3 or 4 year program, sheridan's ba animation is 4 years.... the program that you're looking at is for AFTER completion of the ba... good luck though
Right, I'm aware of that, I've already got a diploma in 2D Art & Animation.Originally Posted by amarryth

Well i'm not sure how it works (im 3rd year in the BAA animation) , but i'm assuming that you apply, then they send you the requirement letter with the "portfolio information" on what they want you to send..
but dont take my words for granted, i may be wrong but thats how it worked for the BAA.
The post-grad Computer Animation course? I called Sheridan about that, I was told a BA Hons in Traditionl Animation or 5+ years industrial experience is required.
