    Thanks for the comments - I will most definitely fix up the grays. Funny, Miller adn Mignola are two of my favorite comic artists, and where I got my love of spot blacks. Time to break out the ol' Hellboy and Sin City/300 books again...

    Tried to make that one cover more intresting by adding in the seer-character (minor character)...and there's a reason her hand's on the guy's foot, it's not "just there..."

    oh, here's my sketchbook.

    Also, my website. It would get beat up in a fight.

    finished inks on that cover, colors will follow (I'll be going for a much less saturated, more moody, semi-monochromatic look).

    The other cover in above post will be simplifyed a bit (especially in that guy's armor), so there will be, among other things, room for the title
    Also, the main guy's skewed perspective will be fixed.

    I like this last one bigtime! Not 100% sure bout the purple though... Lineart is splendid! I enjoyed the page on the fetus in the toilet, that was brilliant! Captured the surreal panic-y feel great man. Very good updates! Keep crankin my fellah.

    Your works look great. Love the inking on your characters. Would love to see some step by step pencils and inks tho.

    Envisor - thanks! For a [vague] step-by-step, see below...

    Gnoll - no worries, the colors are being re-hauled on that one (got a lot of helpful feed-back at critique center). thanks much

    While the hermaphrodite is coming along, it's making me want to kill something fuzzy and cute. As in, "angry."

    Hmmmm
    Finally started messing with the paintbrush tool in PS (for some odd reason I've been using the polygonal lasso to color until now... ) ...will have to go back and fix all the other covers after I finish this...

    Not even half way done (still need lots of highlights and darks, for one), but coming along (that is mostly ceremonial armor the general is wearing, to put on a show in the city type of thing, not his down-and-dirty-battle gear).

    green = nobility
    red/white together = war
    purple = of or sanctified by the major religion

    also, his belt area looks just a bit off kilter (?)...will fix...
