really excellent drawings here. That bearded guy/crotch tattoo should be your avatar. Hmm, I somehow missed the fact there are over 24 pages here. I'll look through the rest and write something more intelligent.

Thanks much TASmith. Heh, don't think having that image as an avatar would be the best first impression for people...

hey wait a sec, during my last visit i missed this one, excellent work on this!

    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1212786172

    yay! giant hyenas having lunch!
you get some cookies just for that,
Only thing is the difference in lenght between the two "forearms", and i'd give your creatures more ground shadows to fix 'em to the ground and maybe a hit of a slightly lighter background (even done in a sketchy way) to make him really pop, since the creatures and bg layer have the same "color"
dunno if i was very clear with that.

much respect, you seem to have focused on what you need to improve and are really working on it, something i never manage to do, it seems.

    keep sharing, much respect!

    ciao

Nice work on that last one good use of texture, but for more variance, over emphasize the different textures, i.e. the horns, lips, eyes etc
And it is probably too late but the wolf type thing seems to short great concept though keep it up and stop by sometime

Gnoll - Thanks much dude! There are so many things to improve on...
Very true about the creatures and stuff in general; I'll pop that dude out before I cry finished.

jedin - Thanks for the tips and for stopping in. Good suggestion...

That's some nice work you're doing there. I REALLY dig the detail you put into that dog/wolf creature you drew. Looks vicious. How long did it take you?

    Check out my sketchbook.

    Thanks much BD.
The fur texture's mainly just "sketchy." I guess about 2.5 hours altogether for that hyena-wolf thing.

Another wind-person/creature, because they are fun.

Good lighting on the face studies. Your paints are getting very strong.

    Diddles me likes.

Don't forget your inks man, Everyone around here paints, but you have inks like no one else.

    Thanks Chance.
I do need to get back into inking...I've just been having a lot of fun learning colors (as well as getting agitated a good bit). Methinks my inking will be even better once I get back into it with 500% more knowledge of lighting and values than I had before.
These two are sort of inked, but not (wacom).

Currency/ Wealth so far...this one doesn't scream highlights or super-designy stuff. Dunno what the final will look like.
