some robot thing....
20 min water color.
Ball point pen.
worker bot-different direction
You have a great sense of depth and range of value with your cow skull and graphite studies! They look very tactile and full of volume - your technological creations seem to lack that a bit. Try to push value ranges more with them and really study how metal reacts to light
i agree with the last responder. You have great value range in your drawing. Also very smooth tonal transitions. What kind of pencil are you using, graphite or charcoal?? or is it like a super dark graphite?
I agree with Steph Laberis as well. I'm not trying to create deapth nor texture...It most likely would look a lot better, but doing it this way saves me a lot of time.
I'm satisfied with just the idea if the designs, not necessarily the form it takes.
wo~~~is nice begain !great work !
Life is good.
doodles between/bofore class.
the one with the nails (first one in the last post) is amazing. it somehow looks more like an unfinished piece and less like a sketch than the others, and i think it would make a great finished work if completed.
what are those little boxes in the last one? the shaded one has good concrete texture, i just dont get what they ARE.
more! especially more of the ballpoint
Well... it's kind of a long story.Originally Posted by Yllawhat are those little boxes in the last one? the shaded one has good concrete texture, i just dont get what they ARE.
But, it is based off my logo, which is based off the idea of the "blank box."
In short...the blank box is a kind of think tank. However, nothing exists in the blank box except light and/or darkness, and myself, which in many cases will be represented by a small shadow figure.
These were done with a multi-colored pen....you know...the fat pens that can switch to four different color inks.
Lot's of cool ideas man. I like the surreal stuff the most. Keep posting.
the one you have there, its small but i think its sweet. the one where the eye changes into a tree and door, very surreal. nice work man
