    Flying monster caught on film!

Well, actually, it's more like a kite. Check this out. I was driving along when I saw this thing out of the corner of my eye. At first I had no idea what it was and it scared the shit out of me. Damn near crashed into the person in front of me. Great idea for a kite isn't it?

When I was yong my uncle amd me and my brothers would make papber balloons in different shapes some would look like monsters othre like UFO's we fill the with hot air and set them free some we filles with home made hydrogen.(a plate of nickel and coper in water ad juce from a battary = hydrogen well something like that)
Those with hydrogen we would set up to burn up after a bit of flying around..it was fun no aharme done but.
I think we must have set off a few UFO sightings in the mid to late 60's in the L.A. area. LOL I think i still have old pics will have to dig them out some day.

Kites are great too and much better than we had in my days as a kid.

So, do you know where you can buy these? This is the perfect excuse to speed and not get a ticket.

Heheh, Undertow. I wish I knew. No, I found it online a while ago and saved the photo. Maybe do a search for the company "Nonstop Action" on the truck's side and see if they sell them?

CCorsair, that sounds like a fun kids' project. Except for the homemade hydrogen part.
